The Basic Story Outline

The best way to structure a newspaper article is to first write an outline. Review your research and notes. Then jot down ideas for the following six sections. Remember, this is just a foundation upon which to build your story.

Title.	Pentecost-Holy Spirit.	Article Auckland Airport runway shortened.  Worlds largest Hail Stone Confirmed
I. Lead sentence Grab and hook your reader right away.	Middle aged men articulate in languages they could not speak before. But not a soul of the crowd believed them.	Leitupo: Auckland Airport shortened One Km from the Airplane repairing panel breaks on the runway. Lukas: Scientists have found the largest Hailstone in Argentina 2 Years ago.
II. Introduction Which facts and figures will ground your story? You have to tell your readers where and when this story is happening	The pentecost was after the ascension the disciples were hiding from the Roman Empire	Lukas: In Argentina scientists have found the largest hail stone. 23.6cm in diameter. Scientists think that it's not the largest and there might be bigger ones. Leitupo: At the airport the Government said to the construction site people can start early and make the runway shortened and they had to use 280 concrete slabs.
III. Opening quotation  What will give the reader a sense of the people involved and what they are thinking?	The people heard that they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?	Leitupo: I heard some random noise come from that house that I am standing next to right now. I can hear it and so Here they come out speaking in a language we’ve never heard before.
IV. Main body What is at the heart of your story?	The holy spirit. Pentecost day.
V. Closing quotation Find something that sums the article up in a few words.	All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit
VI. Conclusion (optional—the closing quote may do the job)	People did what Peter and apostles gave them.

Should Plastic bags be Banned?

Yes I think plastic bags should be banned. Plastic bags are very bad for our
environment. Plastic bags are very harmful for our water creatures and other
animals. Plastic bags are not naturally made which takes 100 years or more to
decompose. People should use reusable shopping bags instead. That's why I
think we should just ban plastic bags. I have been motivated to write about this
issue and problem because I love sea turtles and other creatures. Don’t you
see plastic bags blowing around your house or other places? This is a very big
issue so we should solve it to protect our ecosystem.
